The Ask: What if one million Americans dedicated one hour a week to praying for our country and our people?

The Invitation: Will you join with at least 10 people to meet each week for one hour to pray for America?

Ideas to Celebrate the 250th Land Dedication

Sacred Soil Gathering (Prophetic Act)

Invite people to bring soil from their homes. Combine it into one vessel as a symbol of unity and intercession.

Prayer Focus:
Repentance, healing, and revival of the land.

Scriptures to Read:

“The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.” — Psalm 24:1
“Plow up the fallow ground; do not sow among thorns.” — Jeremiah 4:3

Pour the soil and pray:
“Lord, we dedicate this land back to You. Let revival grow from this ground. We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over this land. We repent for our sins and turn back to God.
We ask for revival, righteousness, and restoration.
We dedicate this nation again to the purposes of Almighty God.”

Rededication Ceremony of the Land

Host a public or church-based dedication service declaring God’s authority over the nation.

Light the Land” Candle Moment

Candles placed in the shape of the U.S. or cross:

Prayer Walk for Revival

Have participants walk the church grounds, town center, or historic site while reading Scripture aloud.

“Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance.” — Psalm 2:8
“Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered.” — Psalm 68:1

End with a specific location and gather all participants. Hold a prayer meeting in public view and proclaim His Kingdom come and offer the land to His Kingdom. Invite onlookers to pray as well.

Living Stones Covenant Path (Community Installation)

A temporary or permanent “Covenant Path” made of stones contributed by families, and neighborhoods — each stone prayed over and marked with Scripture — forming a walkable path or cross shape that represents the nation being built on faith.

1. Everyone Brings a Stone

Ask people to bring a stone from:

Their yard
Their church
A meaningful place (school, workplace, park, town)

Before bringing it, they pray:
“Lord, I dedicate my life and this land to You.”
