About the Role
Key Functions:
Oversee assigned time segment of the Bible Reading Marathon
Ensure readers are prepared and present for their scheduled times
Coordinate smooth transitions between readers
Maintain adherence to the event schedule
Support and encourage readers during their segment
Communicate needs or issues to event leadership
Help maintain a respectful and distraction-free environment
Assist with minor logistical needs during the segment
Track attendance and participation as needed
Requirements
The Bible Reading Marathon Segment Lead supports the successful flow and coordination of a designated portion of the Bible Reading Marathon. This role oversees readers during assigned time segments, ensures smooth transitions between participants, and helps maintain a respectful, orderly, and focused atmosphere for the public reading of Scripture. The Segment Lead serves as a point of support for readers and volunteers while helping uphold the integrity and schedule of the event.
In event that a scheduled reader does not show up to read the Segment Lead reads in their place.
