About the Role
Key Functions:
Serve as the main contact for churches and venues hosting the Nativity Tour
Build and maintain relationships with host churches and tour partners
Communicate tour details, schedules, and requirements clearly
Coordinate site visits and pre-event planning with host locations
Support host churches with logistical guidance and resources
Relay needs, updates, and feedback between host sites and tour leadership
Assist with volunteer coordination at tour locations
Track participation and tour engagement
Help ensure consistent experience and standards across tour sites
Requirements
The Nativity Tour recruits businesses of all kinds in downtown Leesburg to display their own or a loaned nativity during the month of December. Volunteer needs include:
Merchant coordinator/team to reach out and keep track of all shops and restaurants participating)
Nativity coordinator (identifies and solicits nativity owners to lend especially unique nativities to place on loan.
Nativity Curator/team to match the right nativity with
Nativity coordinator (identifies and solicits nativity owners to lend especially unique nativities to place on loan.
Nativity Curator/team to match the right nativity with each merchant
Promotion: hard copy and on line promotion of the event
Ornament Coordinator: Selects customize nativity ornament as gifts for merchants, lenders and for sale to the public. Coordinates supporting material for distribution to merchants selling the Christmas ornaments, making sure they have adequate supply, collects proceeds, tracks income and expenses.
