A Small Chair, A Big Moment: 19th Annual BRM Starting with Children This Year

Last year during the Bible Reading Marathon, we saw so many people stop, listen, and even ask if they could join in reading Scripture. But one moment has stayed with me.

A little boy, about three years old, walked by with his mom. After they passed, he asked if he could go back and read the Bible with us. Of course, he couldn’t actually read yet—but his heart was stirred by what he saw.

We brought a small chair for him, gave him a children’s Bible, and he sat there flipping through the pages. When he finished, he hugged the Bible. That was his participation—and it was beautiful.

As our team prayed about this year’s Bible Reading Marathon, we felt the Lord leading us to “Begin with the Children…”

In past years, we’ve had pastors, leaders, and even guests from Museum of the Bible come and open the reading. But this year, we sense a special invitation to welcome the youngest among us —those with tender hearts toward the Lord.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me… for such is the kingdom of heaven.”

We would love to invite your children to participate—even for just 5 minutes—during the first three hours of the Marathon. Saturday, April 18, 12:30-3:30 PM

If your child would like to be part of this special time, please contact Beth@loudounawakening.org, and we will gladly find a place for you child/children!
