Whether you’re passionate about prayer, community events, or outreach, there’s a place for you in the vibrant tapestry of service happening across our county.
Below are several ways you can get involved with Loudoun Awakening and help bring hope, unity, and faith to our community.

Understanding the Importance of Volunteering
Volunteering is not just about giving back; it is also about building connections and fostering a sense of belonging. When you volunteer, you:
Enhance your skills: Many volunteer roles provide training and experience that can be beneficial for personal and professional development.
Meet new people: Volunteering connects you with like-minded individuals who share your passion for service.
Make a difference: Your time and effort can significantly impact the lives of others and the community as a whole.
In Loudoun County, the spirit of volunteerism is alive and well, with many organizations actively seeking help.
Volunteer Opportunities
1. Lift Up Loudoun: A Call to Prayer
Imagine a day when prayers rise from every corner of Loudoun County—a day dedicated to seeking God’s presence and partnering with the Holy Spirit for revival. That vision is the heart behind Lift Up Loudoun, a program uniting local churches to sponsor a full day of collective prayer for our community.
When your church sponsors a day, you join believers across the county in praying for:
Families
Community leaders
Schools
Neighborhoods
We ask God to soften hearts, transform lives, and bring wisdom and renewal through the fear of the Lord.
Revival begins when God’s people unite in prayer and submission to His will. We invite your church to be part of the awakening!
2. Bible Reading Marathon
This special event brings church families together to read God’s Word aloud in many languages—sometimes up to 15 languages! Readers of all ages participate, creating a beautiful picture of unity and faith in the public square.
The reading begins in Genesis and continues through Revelation.
It pauses at midnight and resumes at 6:00 AM each morning.
Families, church groups, and Bible studies can sign up to read in 30-minute increments.
Children are welcome, and families are encouraged to participate on Wednesday, when the New Testament is read.
This is a powerful way to publicly declare God’s Word and serve as a witness of faith in our community.
3. National Day of Prayer
On the National Day of Prayer, we invite community leaders, pastors, and elected officials to join us in prayer for the key spheres of influence in Loudoun County:
• Government
• Public Safety
• Businesses
• Churches
• Education
• Families
• Media
This gathering unites believers across backgrounds to lift up our county and seek God’s guidance for every area of life.
5. Leesburg Nativity Tour
The Leesburg Nativity Tour is a wonderful Christmas tradition for families and friends. As you shop and dine in historic Leesburg, you’ll visit participating merchants displaying Nativity scenes.
Here’s how it works:
Look for the Nativity Tour sign in store windows (or inside the shop).
Pick up a promotion card and get it stamped at each participating location.
Fill your card and receive a free hot beverage from Trinity House Cafe.
It’s a joyful way to celebrate the season, support local businesses, and share the story of Christ.
4. First Friday Awakening Fast
Held on the first Friday of each month, the Awakening Fast invites believers in Jesus Christ to humble themselves before the Lord and pray for spiritual protection over Loudoun County.
• Corporate prayer locations vary monthly.
• Details are shared through the Loudoun Awakening website and social channels.
Together, we seek the Lord for spiritual awakening and renewal in our county.
These roles are vital for connecting with churches, leaders, and neighbors across Loudoun County. If you feel called to help organize, communicate, and build bridges between people and prayer, we would love to hear from you.
Let’s Serve Together
Volunteering with Loudoun Awakening is more than giving time—it’s investing in the spiritual health of our community. Whether you participate in prayer events, family-friendly programs, or leadership roles, your involvement helps plant seeds of hope and transformation.
Let’s seek the Lord together and believe for spiritual awakening in Loudoun County.
