Be the Awakening

Greetings all!

I am compelled to give grateful praise to God for leading us to the moment of rededication of Loudoun County to Himself recently. What an encouraging and enriching time of worship it was! I am so thankful for all who contributed through prayer, Scripture reading, worship, music, and fellowship.

I can’t help but be blessed every time I have the privilege of gathering with the Body of Christ, and I left the courthouse grounds with a full heart and a renewed zeal to live out the Gospel and Be the Awakening.

In late 2025, we began discussing how we wanted to honor the Lord for His faithfulness in sustaining and guiding this nation as we approached the celebration of its 250th year of independence. We asked a simple but important question: How did God want us to recognize this historic milestone?

Through much prayer, discernment, and wise counsel, we began organizing what we believed would become a truly historic event. Details unfolded meeting by meeting, step by step, and it was a privilege to witness the leading of the Holy Spirit throughout the process.

As the Lord assembled the right people to carry out His plan, we remained in awe of His grace and faithfulness. Words cannot fully express our gratitude for everyone who contributed. We know and trust the Lord has abundant blessings (pressed down, shaken together and running over)

in store for each person who faithfully served.

Since an event like this had never been recorded in Loudoun County’s history, we really didn’t know what to expect. Our only expectation was that God would show up—and He did.

Seeing the Body of Christ gather in the summer heat with joyful hearts, hearing God’s Word proclaimed, remembering His hand in the founding of our nation, and witnessing multiple generations recommit themselves to the Lord deeply moved me. It reaffirmed both the significance of this gathering and the importance of remaining dedicated to Christ in every generation.

If you were able to attend, I pray this became an Ebenezer moment for you, your family, and your community—a lasting reminder of God’s faithfulness.

If you were unable to attend, I encourage you to embrace the heart behind this gathering. The event may have concluded, but the mission continues.

Join us as we seek to live out the Gospel every day and Be the Awakening.

God is always moving when the saints gather and worship and praise His name . I was very glad that I was there to participate in this event, hopefully more to come soon so we can continue stir the fire and passion for the nation and especially for loundoun county communities.

Yes Sir. I am in total agreement. There is something to be said about the pioneering spirit that breaks untouched ground; being the first time this has occurred in Loudoun County. Our forefathers never considered what they did as groundbreaking and yet it changed the course of a nation and brought blessings to a people who decided to “choose” GOD; THE FATHER OF OUR SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, to be head over us. We “are” the awakening; because the Spirit of the Lord is upon us; for such a time as this. He causes us to remember; so that He will do it again. I thank GOD for the remnant who attended and those who prayed but couldn’t be there in…
